45T battery electric locomotive main structure mainly divided as frame, walking device, braking system, traction transmission system, battery box, operation control system and other parts.

Drive system

The locomotive mechanical system are composed by running gear box, universal spindle coupling and locomotive running device, etc.

Electric locomotive gear reducer is fully enclosed cone cylindrical gear two-stage reducer. Power through universal coupling by motor passed to circular cone small gear. After first stage reducer, through big conical gear transmit to small low level gear; through second reducer, through large cylindrical gear transmit to wheel set drive wheel rotation.

 

Locomotive walking department

This locomotive walking department is non bogie two wheel set walking department, it includes traction

Vibration damper, wheel set constitute, etc. Because of battery locomotive used line condition is bad, in order to reduce the vibration of the locomotive, and reduce the impact between wheel and rail, to improve the stability of the locomotive operation, reliability, reduce the amount of maintenance, adopt V type rubber spring traction damping device; Ac traction motor uses the body type, through the universal coupling driver running speed reducer finally drive wheels, so as to reduce the vehicle underdraught weight, improve the working conditions of traction motor and traction gear, improve the locomotive dynamic performance.
