Tunnel Railway Diesel Locomotive working principle & structure:

JDC - 50 t (45 t) mechanical and electrical traction locomotive, supplied by diesel generate power unit supply alternating current, ac through frequency changer change into frequency and voltage adjustable three-phase alternating current (ac) supply for two set three-phase asynchronous traction motor. Each motor wheel through coupling drive the gear reducer transmit the transmission box, through secondary speed reducer drive to the car axle, then traction the locomotives.

Locomotive’s main structure is divided of car body, walking device , air brake system, transmission system, diesel power generating unit, electric braking unit and brake resistance , shock absorber system, control system , air compressor system, etc .
