History


Battery locomotive also called “battery generator or “electric battery locomotive”, it is a rail transport vehicle, weight from 25t-55t, that provide the motive power, DPC45(50)/7、9GB dc-ac transmission, narrow gauge battery generator type mining electrical locomotive.

It is applicable to coal, metallurgy, metro line, underground space construction, metro phase expansion networks, deep tunnel cable, Metro line, hydro-power plant, diversion works, mining, forest, railway, highway tunnel construction industry such as narrow gauge railway transport ground of explosion-proof traction.

A locomotive has no payload capacity of its own, and its sole purpose is to tract the muck car, mortar vehicle, segment car along the tracks.

The battery powered locomotive is developed according to the requirements of the subway engineering mechanization construction and development, is the shield supporting transport machine, during construction transport of sand earthwork, material, and equipment special used traction locomotives. Meanwhile, it also suit for coalmine, metallurgy, mining ,railway, highway tunnel construction industry narrow gauge railway ground, the non explosion-proof site transport tractions. 


The battery locomotive use condition


Elevation not exceed 1000m, the environment temperature changes with the seasons, but highest do not exceed + 40 ℃, the minimum is not low At subzero of15 ℃.

 

Working principle


Battery powered Locomotive is powered by batteries, the dc by the traction converter change into a three-phase ac voltage supply for 2 sets squirrel cage induction motor, each motor rotor through universal joint drive the gear reduce box, through secondary gear reducer to transmit to the car axle, thus tract the locomotive.

 

Structure


Structure

The battery locomotive main structure is divided car frame, walking system, brake system, traction transmission system, accumulator box, operation control system, etc.

 

The battery locomotive car frame adopt welded steel structure, above the car frame from front to back install of driver room, converter, air compressor room, and electric resistance box, battery box, in the driver’s room seting electric cabinet and operation platform, the operation table install air braking device, one-way brakewave, each operation button, instrument signal display device. The driver room front and sides all generally set glass window, easy to look out, the main driver back wall middle part install manual brake device hand wheel.

 

In addition, this battery locomotive also can install monitoring system, fundamentally solves the trail bad look, to ensure that the whole locomotive transportation safety.

 

The battery locomotive braking performance is good, combined with ac electric character  set up electric braking, air brake and hand brake three kinds of brake system. Electric brake for conventional brake, powered by air brake shoe brake as battery locomotive train normal or emergency braking. When the locomotive implements electric braking, it can according to battery voltage effect feedback braking, resistance braking and zero braking automatic transfer.
